Purandara Daasa Aaradhane 2005
Purandara Daasa Aaradhane was celebrated on 23rd of January 2005 at Sri Siddhivinayaka Temple. Purandara Daasa's Navarathnamaalike was sung at the beginning of the program followed by individual renditions by children and adults. Kannadigas and music lovers from other parts of India participated in this program. Around 50 people attended this function. Prasaada was distributed after the function.

Blood Donation Drive 2005
KSS celebrated Indian Republic day on the 29th of January 2005 by joining hands with other Indian Associations of Sacramento and organizing a Blood Donation Drive at SVCC temple premises. This was a community service event with a purpose to bring all the Indian organizations together and mark the Indian Republic Day with a good cause, and increase the awareness of our presence in the local community. 24 people donated blood. Indian flag was hoisted at the venue and the attendees sang Indian National Anthem. Indian Flag badges were also distributed to everyone.
