This event was conducted very successfully. We had multiple
programs that included Fruit and Vegetable decoration competition,
Kannada Naadu Hemmeya Beedu,Dances, Skits, Hello Namaste, Govina
haadu, Kindari jogi, Taarapala, Bharata natya, Jolly Bar, Mysoru
Mallige, Mookabhinaya, Songs and much more by local talents.
- Food Not Bombs
Youth Committee event through "Food
Not Bombs" on 10/18/09 was successful. KSS volunteers
served food from 1:30 to 2:30 PM. Some of the youth members
attended this event to get some community hours and serve food
for needy people.

This year we had a wonderful time camping in the Gold Country
at Long Ravine Resort in Colfax. It is an hour drive from
Sacramento on the shores of Lake Rollins. We met on Saturday,
July 11 and stayed the night and left Sunday July 12th. Activities
included Water sports, Fishing, Beach and Swim Slide.
